Why We Love This

Mixed media painting by Trude Hanscom (American 1890 - 1975). Portrays a selection of travel paraphernalia found at a bus stop from the 1940s/50s including an umbrella, tote bag with LIFE magazine, suitcase, hat carrier, purse, camera, postcards of Paris, wrapped gift box, etc.). Label on verso from artist's studio in Arcadia, California. Displayed in gold frame with matte, signed lower right.
