This cabinet was meticulously handcrafted of elm wood reclaimed from furniture that dates back to China's Qing Dynasty. A traditional floral motif set hand-painted in gold against a silver background graces the four cabinet doors. Nearly seven feet wide, it would make a marvelous media console, bedroom dresser, or dining room sideboard.
Madera Home transforms aged barn doors, panels from antique armoires, and weathered old beams from forgotten temples into exquisite new masterpieces. Everything offered is made using only reclaimed wood, material that would otherwise find itself in a landfill as China races to modernize. Each piece is meticulously hand-finished using a multistep process and is colored with vegetable dyes to create a unique, soulful patina.
