As described by Billy Blue Eye

Beswick Pottery, founded in 1892, is known for its animal figurines and for its inventive and original art pottery vases, jugs, baskets and service ware. This jug with three looped handles and a flared rim was designed in 1936 by Mr. Symcox and released in two sizes until 1959. The jug, heavily influenced by Art Deco forms and lines, has a playful hand-painted glaze. It is bottom stamped with the Beswick logo and incised "Beswick - England 394-1."
