Although the type of leather used to craft this bracelet is called English bridle, the leather was tanned in a century-old American tannery that uses only North American steer. English bridle leather is the most water-resistant, and this bracelet was treated to age beautifully. The buckle is made of solid brass, and the edges were hand-finished using locally produced beeswax.
