A hand-pulled screen print of a ship diagram, taken from a 19th-century atlas. This work was printed with high-quality white ink on cold-press 140 lb. hand-painted blue watercolor paper. The image was modified to create a unique, vintage aesthetic; as such, many of the words are not completely legible.
Inspired and motivated by their daughter, the Michigan-based husband and wife team of I Screen You Screen creates prints that tell a story. Using a mixture of vintage and modern aesthetics, each print is made with loving attention to detail without sacrificing the beautiful imperfections of handmade work.
