A print of a late painting by Mark Rothko, perfectly characteristic of his hovering abstraction. One of the preeminent artists of his generation, Rothko is closely identified with the New York School, a circle of painters that emerged during the 1940s. His meditative abstractions--which would be a large influence on Color Field painting--are rich with quiet power.

For more than three decades, Bruce McGaw Graphics has been a leader in the publishing world. Today, McGaw Graphics carries on this tradition, managing more than 700 artists and 15,000 licenses worldwide. Each work is created in the Green Mountains of Vermont--where McGaw Graphics is based--using cutting-edge digital printing techniques.
