Why We Love This

A striking reproduction printed on fine art canvas with archival color-fast inks. This work is gallery-wrapped with the color on the sides; it is ready to hang. Made in the U.S.A.

Katsushika Hokusai was a Japanese artist of the Edo period, best known as the author of the woodblock print series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, which includes the famed print, The Great Wave of Kanagawa, created during the 1820s. Rooted in the Japanese tradition of depicting scenes of a famous place, Hokusai's work features inventive, new compositions.

For more than three decades, Bruce McGaw Graphics has been a leader in the publishing world. Today, McGaw Graphics carries on this tradition, managing more than 700 artists and 15,000 licenses worldwide. Each work is created in the Green Mountains of Vermont -- where McGaw Graphics is based -- using cutting-edge digital printing techniques.
