An utterly chic necklace, with a crescent design inspired by a piece of seafan coral the designer found in Hawaii. To achieve the naturalistic, intricate detail, each hole was hand-cut with tiny saws and files. The piece measures 16 inches long with a signature clasp. Made of reclaimed sterling silver and 14k gold.
Emily Amey has an innate knack for chic, natural design. She chooses precious and semiprecious stones, often collected on her own global travels, and sets them off in spectacularly simple designs of silver and gold. The stones are responsibly sourced, and she uses reclaimed and recycled metals wherever possible. Amey handcrafts each piece in her Williamsburg, Brooklyn studio.
