A striking necklace, with a rib-like design inspired by Islamic architecture. Each of the holes was carefully hand-cut with tiny saws and files. The piece is cast in sterling silver and hangs 18 inches with a signature clasp. Emily Amey has an innate knack for chic, natural design. She chooses precious and semiprecious stones, often collected on her own global travels, and sets them off in spectacularly simple designs of silver and gold. The stones are responsibly sourced, and she uses reclaimed and recycled metals wherever possible. Amey handcrafts each piece in her Williamsburg, Brooklyn studio.
