An original etching, aquatint and roulette printed in two colors (black, bistre) on BFK Rives wove paper. This work is hand-signed and dated in pencil lower right Erik Desmazières 1996; titled in pencil lower center. It is This is a superb impression of the definitive state, from the edition of 75 (of which only 49 impressions have been printed two date, 9 of them in two colors as here, and 40 in three colors), numbered “46/75” in pencil lower left. Printed at Atelier René Taze, Paris. Catalogue reference: Fitch 148.

This work is part of a carefully curated selection by noted fine art expert Jennifer McCloskey, who was formerly affiliated with Doyle Gallery in New York and is now based in San Francisco.
