Why We Love This

A botanical screen print of a lush, floral bouquet representing the month of July. This is a reproduction of a hand-colored engraving from a pictorial catalog originally produced in 1730 by Robert Furber entitled The Twelve Months of the Year in Flowers. This was the first plant and seed catalog to be published, and each print portrays the thirty or more flowers that bloom in the given month. A key at the base of the print identifies each flower. Framed and wired for hanging.
