One of the original color lithographs from The Story of the Exodus, a portfolio containing twenty-four large color lithographs published by Leon Amiel in 1966.

Russian by birth, Marc Chagall was educated in St. Petersburg and Paris, eventually emigrating to France in 1923. His early influences were Russian expressionism and French cubism, but Chagall created a style that was unique to the 20th century. His mastery of color suffuses his paintings and prints as well as the stained glass work that he created for European cathedrals.

Established in 1955, APF Munn continues to create superiorly crafted, custom frames for fine art and mirrors. The company's frames hang in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the de Young Museum in San Francisco, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. APF Munn's own holdings include fine and important works by masters of the 20th century, from Dalì to Matisse.
