Why We Love This

Rendered in a black and taupe herringbone pattern, the embossed vinyl surface of this tissue box and wastebasket set adds a pleasing complexity to its simple lines.

Known for her elegant bath and spa collections, Gail DeLoach discovered a passion for collecting in Asia in 1986 when she opened her aptly named LA shop, Asiaphile--a showcase for antique Chinese furniture and rugs alongside folk art from Japan and Southeast Asia. Her clean, distinctive style is touched by her eye for elegant eccentric antiques, primitive art, and natural curiosities. Today, Gail spends much of her time in Thailand, working on new bath collections and scouring markets for more exotic finds.
