This beautiful quadtych shows figures skiing down a perfectly white mountain. Captured at a distance, this scene takes on the quiet beauty of the mountains and trees in winter. This is a stunning print for a ski house, a wintry wall, or anyone dreaming of the Western slopes. Speaking of this À la montagne series, which was shot from doorless helicopters, the photographer Gray Malin says: “The majestic surroundings create a beautiful canvas for skiers, chair lifts, and other objects to appear as a pattern below. This series is a visual celebration of natural form, color, repetition -- and winter joy.”

A Dallas native, Gray Malin hunts the globe for the unusual beauty captured in his photographs. He often plays with perspective through height, helicoptering over the beaches of Brazil or Kauai and sending balloons above the mystical plains of Joshua Tree National Park. Malin first broke onto the scene in West Hollywood, California at a Sunday market where his prints caught the interest of gallery owners, interior designers, and stylish Angelenos. Gray's work has been displayed in the Dallas Museum of Art and has been published around the world in publications such as the London Observer.
