Why We Love This

The Mural Project: Photography by Ansel Adams with Peter Wright and John Armor. Santa Barbara: Reverie Press, 1989. First printing. This book presents, for the first time, a selection of the monumental photographs that Ansel Adams was commissioned to take of the US National Parks. By 1944, he had 225 prints, but the hardship of the war years caused the project to be shelved. This book reproduces 85 of the original images, intended to be mural sized. Book and jacket are fine.
