Why We Love This

This stunning image was transcribed onto the lithographic stone by G.W. Thornley, under the careful supervision of Camille Pissarro. This original lithograph is printed in brown ink on chine appliqué on stiff wove paper. A superb example of the definitive state, this lithograph is from the album 25 Lithographies par W. Thornley d’après Pissarro, an edition of just 108. This is plate number 21, from the 82nd impression of this edition. The plate number is stamped above the upper right corner of the image.
