Why We Love This

An original lithograph printed in colors on wove paper. This work is a fine impression of the definitive state, from the book edition. One of twelve original lithographs published in The Lithographs of Chagall, Volume II (apart from the pencil signed and numbered edition of 40, and the deluxe book edition of 150). Published by André Sauret, Paris, 1963; printed by Atelier Mourlot, Paris.

This work is part of a carefully curated selection by noted fine art expert Jennifer McCloskey, who was formerly affiliated with Doyle Gallery in New York and is now based in San Francisco. If you have questions about any of the works in this selection, please send an email to asktheexpert@onekingslane.com.
