Why We Love This

It's not often that a piece of cookware is both sleek and sustainable. This pan marries design with function, creating a durable, must-have piece for the environmentally conscious chef. Thermolon ceramic technology is a natural, non-stick mineral-based coating, free of PTFE, silicone oil and other potentially dangerous chemicals. Manufactured without PFOA and applied in an environmentally friendly way, this pan produces 60% less CO2 emissions than normal cookware. Not a pro in the kitchen? No big deal. If you accidentally overheat your pan, even up to 450°C/850°F, no toxic fumes will be released and the coating will not blister or peel.

Five years ago GreenPan pioneered and offered consumers a safe and healthy alternative to traditional PTFE non-stick. GreenPan cookware, with breakthrough Thermolon ceramic non-stick coating, was the first environmentally friendly, PTFE-free non-stick cookware available since the introduction of non-stick technology in 1938.
