As described by
Bright, eye-catching yellow glaze covers this hand-thrown vintage vase from Fred Johnson, hired by Bauer in 1933. Before leaving his Native Arkansas, Johnson had been a principal thrower for Niloak Pottery in Benton. Marks from his wheel are visible on the inside of the vase, and he insisted on glazing the bottoms of his fine pieces. Unsigned.
