Contemporary copper figure coated in vintage enamel mounted on Lucite base by Courtney Murphy. The statue employs the fold-forming technique which involves "folding" the copper and hammering in between annealing (softening metal in the kiln) which causes the copper to curve naturally. Enamels are pre-1980 and are no longer manufactured.

In February 2013, a stunning 1924 William Ward Watkin Houston mansion was given new life by a a team of design talents handpicked by Luxe Interiors + Design magazine. “We challenged the designers to celebrate the integrity and beauty of a historically preserved house--and bring it into the 21st century,“ says Houston Designer and event co-chair Bill Stubbs, who decorated the house’s gorgeous solarium. Here’s your chance to own pieces straight from the showhouse. All proceeds benefit Preservation Houston to protect the city’s architectural and cultural resources.
