Why We Love This

"The 1930s saw the rise of hand-built model race cars, known as spindizzies, or tether cars. Constructed using original blueprints, our Bantam Midget model resembles the original down to the smallest detail. One look and you'll be ready to join the competition."

In February 2013, a stunning 1924 William Ward Watkin Houston mansion was given new life by a a team of design talents handpicked by Luxe Interiors + Design magazine. We challenged the designers to celebrate the integrity and beauty of a historically preserved house--and bring it into the 21st century, says Houston Designer and event co-chair Bill Stubbs, who decorated the houses gorgeous solarium. Heres your chance to own pieces straight from the showhouse. All proceeds benefit Preservation Houston to protect the citys architectural and cultural resources.
