As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Puck of Pook's Hill by Rudyard Kipling. New York: Doubleday Co., no date. This has a copyright date of 1906, but is later, probably from the '40s. A charming collection of children's stories and poems about English history, with Shakespeare's Puck acting as whimsical guide to a pair of young students. A classic, with especially striking jacket design.
