As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Quail in Aspic by Cecil Beaton. London: Wiedenfeld Nicolson, 1962. First printing. A perfect copy of Beaton's rare society parody, in a clipped jacket. Beaton adored to dress himself and friends as mythical members of a supposed displaced aristocracy, complete with elaborate pedigrees and supporting photo histories, made funnier by mingling in with his real society friends. Book and jacket are in fine condition.
