As described by Vintage Print Gallery

Paul Louis Oudart (1796–1860) appeared in the Salon de Paris in 1819 displaying his ornithological illustrations some of which had been executed during his travels alongside Captain Cook in pursuit of imperial interests. Oudart is perhaps best known for his work on Histoire Naturelle du Jardin du Roi, the book from which this hand-colored engraving was taken.

An antique print is a dazzling way to add a sense of history to your surroundings. And when the print is impeccably framed, you'll be adding elegance to a wall. Vintage Print Gallery's collection is impressive not just in the quality of its offering but also in its breadth, which ranges from 18th-century botanical studies to 19th-century equestrian chromolithographs, to fashion illustrations from the early 20th century.
