As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Eloise by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. New York: Simon Schuster, 1955. First edition, uncorrected second printing. Book and jacket are fine, with slight corner wear. A rare, earlier version than the one we know, with different text in several places. "Brooklyn Dodgers" instead of "New York Jets" on jacket. "My mother knows Lily Dache" became "Coco Chanel." "Here's what I like...Grass" became "Dandelions" and "I hate Peter Rabbit" was removed. Fun to spot the differences.
