Both practical and decorative, this solid brass lamp is made using the traditional Welsh specifications for use in the mines. The base of this lamp is tooled from solid brass. The lamp is functional for personal use and burns lamp oil (kerosene), has a new wick and has never been used. Just as they have been made and used since the 18th century, the lamp is marked as a Cambrian brass miners safety lamp by W.R. Clanny-Sir H. Davy. Stamped with No. 21119. A hanging bracket is included.
