As described by The Montecito Collection

Unusual Reed Barton silverplate enamel dish with gray-blue color glaze. The explosion of color that pervaded silverware in the 1960s was a reaction to 1950s Scandinavian enamelware. In 1961 Reed Barton came out with "Color Glaze," an enamel-like translucent painted finish developed primarily by craftsman John Prip. Hallmarked "Reed Barton 193."
