As described by Victoria's Vintage

Striking porcelain elephant made by Unterweissbach in the Thruingia region of Germany, an area famous for its Dresden porcelain. This beautiful elephant was crafted around the middle of the 20th century using the very demanding production technique of under-glazing to provide an exceptionally fine finish. Stamp on underside has the blue Unterweissbach crown seal.
