Why We Love This

Charcoal and pastel on paper portraying a female reclining nude on a sofa. Signed "Tad Wojnicki," artist, poet and author of Lie Under the Fig Trees. Wojnicki, born in Eastern Europe, emigrated to the United States, taught at Santa Clara University and Hartnell College in Salinas, CA. Now in his 80s, he's still very active teaching poetry workships in Carmel, California.

About Carol Sweetzer

As a buyer in my family's antiques business, art and antiques have been my passion for more than 30 years. In 1988 I opened my own store, Carol Sweetzer, to share treasures with existing clients and introduce new collectors to the paintings, prints, engravings, antiques and decorative collectibles which I find in English, French and local markets. I have been featured in many newspapers and magazines and served as a museum art appraiser. I am excited to bring my finds to One Kings Lane.
