Why We Love This

A cast-iron bench in the "Convulvus" or "Morning Glory" pattern. American, circa 1880. This pattern was first cast by the Coalbrookdale foundry of Shropshire, England around 1855 and was offered in America soon after by Wood Perot of Philadelphia. Seat, 16"W x 16"H.
