A hand-colored copperplate engraving, Plate 19, "Stapelia Hirsuta," by Pierre Joseph Buchoz taken from the book Les Dons Merveilleux et Diversement Coloriés de la Nature dans Le Règne Vègètale (The Gifts and Wonderful Variously Colored Nature in the Vegetable Kingdom), published between 1731 and 1807.
