Why We Love This

Set of 12 fine cabinet or service plates by Royal Doulton, England. Hand-painted and artist signed by Edwin Wood, who joined Royal Doulton in 1898 and specialized in floral paintings. A lovely gilt foliate decoration enhances the powder teal ground with a delightful shaped edge trimmed in more florals. Each one has a separate floral hand-painted central medallion. Made around 1915.
