As described by Lost Art Salon

Watercolor and gouache of a country landscape with flowers, by French artist Marie Jaans Hibbits (1895-1984). Displayed in a vintage giltwood frame with archival mat and etched non-glare glass. Wire hanging hardware on verso. Signed lower left. Hibbits' work has been shown at the Long Beach Museum of Art and she was awarded for her watercolors in 1961 by the Santa Barbara New-Press. She was the wife of artist Forrest Hibbits.
