As described by L'Affichiste Vintage Posters

The designer of this poster, Eugene Oge (French, 1861-1936), was a design master well known for his insightful caricatures. Quinquina is a collective name for alcoholic bitters with quinine as a main ingredient. It originated in South America and was introduced to Europe in the 17th century by Spanish missionaries. In this image, the bitters are guarded by lock and key.
