A. M. Cassandre was one of the most important Art Deco-period designers of bold, geometric posters. This one was taken from a promotional, spiral-bound book issued on the 125th anniversary of the Smeets publishing company in the 1950s. This lithograph is in great condition, with small holes along the left margin where the piece was spiral-bound.
