Alicia Adams Alpaca
The cable-knit insert adds a complementary texture to the herringbone pattern of this hand-finished pillow. Because it's made from the wool of Suri alpacas, a rare breed known for its exquisitely soft fleece, it has a luxurious, almost decadent feel, which is further enhanced by the lofty feather-and-down insert.
Alicia Adams Alpaca Inc. raises a herd of more than 200 Suri alpacas at a beautiful farm in New York’s Hudson Valley. With about 80 acres, the farm is also home to Alicia Adams and her family. The alpacas are shorn yearly; the throws and pillows are created in the United States and in Peru, using the incredible handiwork of local artisans who perpetuate the pre-Incan tradition of working alpaca fibers.
