About Tivoli Tile Works

Caroline Wallner understands that pottery is personal. She began her line in 1998, making each piece herself in two beautifully atmospheric spaces--an old horse barn in New York’s Hudson River Valley, and a sod-roof studio in West Cork, Ireland. "My inspiration shifts and morphs. It comes from the world I inhabit at the time," she tells us. "The colors of the Hudson Valley, my children, their explorations and discoveries, my friends, their art, the earth, the sky, and sometimes just happy mistakes."
