About Soicher Marin

The Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave is known for her color-rich paintings, which recall hues from Egypt, Greece, and Turkey, and for her imaginative paper sculptures. Her work spans the mediums of fashion, painting, and the decorative arts; her projects have included making roses for John Galliano’s couture designs and recreating Jackie Kennedy’s wedding dress for the JFK Library and Museum. De Borchgrave trained in Brussels at the Centre des Arts Décoratifs and the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts.
