As described by Maison Maison Antiques

Beautiful 19th-century table used by lacemakers in France. Each side of the top lifts up to reveal wires and bobbins, used to pull threads through. Newly hand-painted in the 20th century, circa 1955. Unique as a decorative round table, or split apart as two demilune consoles.
