An original lithograph printed in black ink on chine appliqué (china paper mounted on wove paper). Signed with the artist’s estate monogram stamp (Lugt 613e) in grey ink in the margin lower left.

This is a fine impression of Delteil’s only state, from the cailac’s third and final edition, an edition of 18 impression of the two subjects printed together in 1923 (apart from small editions printed separately from each of the plates in 1895 and 1922), annotated “tiree à 18ep.” in pencil below the image lower right. Catalogue raisonné reference: Delteil 145 & 146.
