Gorgeous late-19th-century pietra dura box. Made in the Czech Republic. Hand-inlaid stone top, micro mosaic. Signed "Karlsbad" on top. Mother-of-pearl escutcheon. No key. Velvet lined. Slight wear on leather bottom. Karlsbad is historically famous for its hot springs, and pietra dura stone is a product of these thermal springs.
