As described by M.S. Rau Antiques

Intriguing antique Wedgwood redware figure of a sleeping boy, circa 1810. Redware was used mainly for household items such as teapots and flower vases, so to find a decorative item made of this material is extremely rare. Marked “Wedgwood” on base.
