Why We Love This

This digital drawing is by artist Julie Abijanac. It is printed on fine watercolor paper and set off in a hand-treated gray wood frame with a cream liner. This print comes from a limited edition.
Julie Abijanac was born in Landstuhl, Germany in 1969, and shortly thereafter her family moved to Columbus, OH. She received a BFA in Painting from the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) and an MFA in Painting from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Abijanac is currently an Assistant Professor at CCAD and has exhibited her work across the U.S. Her series of digital drawings, a visual diary of her life, explores the layers one begins to develop on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

About Zoe Bios Creative

Zoe Bios Creative's objects and art give interiors the feeling of far-flung travel and lived-in elegance. A new model of a design house, the company brings ideas for the entire interior, from art to books, even coining the term "ArtEntouré" to describe their method of "full-circle curation within an environment." Its founders have the right pedigree: Minh Nguyen was the Managing Director for Natural Curiosities and Caitlin Dinkins was the Creative Director for Stila Cosmetics (and her illustrations have appeared everywhere from the Victoria and Albert Museum to "Vogue"). Together, they create and assemble objects that have provenance and patina, and they represent artists whose works are uniquely beautiful. Zoe Bios Creative is based in Silver Lake, California.
