A orange-and-violet-colored sun, made out of shapes that have the quality of cut-paper. This work is part of Zoe Bios' own watercolor series. The series centers around a "love affair with pure color," which led the Zoe Bios team to experiment with India inks and Moroccan pigment. Each work proves that ink -- in pure, organic forms -- adds its own dimensionality to a space.
This is a print of the original work.
Zoe Bios Creative's objects and art give interiors the feeling of far-flung travel and lived-in elegance. A new model of a design house, the company brings ideas for the entire interior, from art to books, even coining the term "ArtEntouré" to describe their method of "full-circle curation within an environment." Its founders have the right pedigree: Minh Nguyen was the Managing Director for Natural Curiosities and Caitlin Dinkins was the Creative Director for Stila Cosmetics (and her illustrations have appeared everywhere from the Victoria Albert Museum to Vogue). Together, they create and assemble objects that have provenance and patina, and they represent artists whose works are uniquely beautiful. Zoe Bios Creative is based in Silver Lake, California.
