As described by The Vintage Vend

A pair of wood signs from the glory days of roadside America, part of a famous ad campaign for Burma Shave Cream that continued until 1963. These are two of three signs from a 1939 set featuring the slogan "Best Reference...Public Preference...Burma-Shave." One of the signs has a logo for a Minneapolis sign painter's union.
