The LA shop was launched in 1996 by David Serrano and Robert Willson. In 2008, the shop was joined by the adjacent Outside Downtown. The pair’s enviable home was featured in the (2001).

blue raku glaze with patches of the stoneware showing through. Signed on the underside and looks like either "KM" or "KW" with a squiggle through the middle.
Highly detailed ceramic relief shallow centerpiece bowl with
matte and gloss glazes. The rich cocoa glaze is offset with touches of green and blue gloss glaze with an iridescent finish. Unidentified maker's mark on underside.
