As described by C the Light Interiors

1970s oil pastel of Foothill Lake in California by artist Erle Loran (1905-1999), who won the Paris Prize in 1926 and lived and worked in the studio of Paul Cezanne. He later moved to California and became Chairman of the Art Department at the University of California at Berkley. Estate stamp signature, lower left. Displayed in a carved gold wood frame.
