Why We Love This

1960s oil on canvas portrait of a female nude by Robert T. Ayres (1913-2012), best known for being the illustrator of the map on the TV show Bonanza. Mr. Ayres was also a skilled studio artist and this is an outstanding example of his work. Unsigned but labeled on stretcher bar on verso.
