WWII trench art ashtray. Three shell castings hold up a hand-hammered metal ashtray. This piece is missing the cut shell casings that held the cigarettes.

Raised in New York and Paris, interior designer Sally Breer had a nomadic childhood that helped inspire comminglehome. The daughter of an experimental artist and filmmaker, Breer focuses on a space’s innate possibilities--never on its spatial limitations. Based in Los Angeles, comminglehome seamlessly mixes modern, vintage, and flea-market finds to reflect all the facets of a person’s character, instantly imbuing a space with the owner’s signature style and personality.
