Oil painting portrait of a lady by artist Georgia Crittenden Bemis (1908-2008). Bemis was born in Delano, MN and moved to San Diego, CA in 1928. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and with Pauline DeVol, Charles Reiffel, Otto Schneider, and Ruth Norton Ball. After five years in San Diego, she moved to the San Francisco Bay area. Portraits, both in oil and various sculpture media, became her specialty.

In 1995, San Francisco antiques enthusiast Lynn Goldfinger launched a successful business sharing her passion for unique vintage items with an international clientele. Her appreciation for the eclectic and unique has fed Paris Hotel Boutique’s substantial, carefully edited catalogue of antique curiosities, European furnishings, vintage hotel silver, jewelry, lighting, first-edition books, and one-of-a-kind accessories. Each well-preserved piece, from the late 1800s through the mid-20th century, reflects the style and elegance of another time and place.
